Parcom will be updating all systems for our cloud services to PHP version 5.4.11 as a security fix throughout the week (it is a security update and it is a necessary one.)  Please take note that this is an automated install and no downtime or compatibility issues is anticipated so long as your solutions are well maintained.   Thank you!

Notes:

It is the client responsibility to make sure web site solutions are up to date and are compatible with shared hosting updates.  Many updates are automated as we have to protect the entire Parcom community from security threats daily.  Parcom reserves the right to update promptly based on security risks too.    If your solution will not be updated by its author or developer we cannot revert back to older solutions when other customers understand this policy.    It is also your responsibility to keep up with news and updates as we post them here as well as on the network status page.   We also post these updates via social media.   Many times these fixes are so fast that there is no advanced notice since we also require you to know that we do the minor security patches quickly.   Especially security fixes like the one above.    It is the nature of development, so just use reputable solutions and keep things up to date and you will have trouble free hosting with us!   Parcom does test major applications prior to updates.   i.e. Wordpress primarily (since over 90% use it with us) and other popular apps.
