Should I set up auto billing/auto payments?




Customers sometimes ask if they should set up auto billing or auto payments for their hosting and/or domain registration.

Our answer is simple - it is a personal choice.  This is something you control.

Here are some considerations -

  • If your credit card or payment method expires or is decilined by your bank - your payment would not be processed and your account could become past due.
  • If you decide to stop your service and do not deactivate the auto payment and do not notify Parcom that you are stopping service - you may still be billed.
  • If you are a group who may change officers or contacts regularly, you may want to opt to manually pay each billing cycle.

Parcom staff do not have access to your credit card or paypal account information.  This information is managed solely by you.  It is your responsibility to keep all of your account information up to date to ensure that you receive reminder notices and to make sure that payments are made in a timely fashion.
