Security Questions on cPanel

The security questions on our cPanel control panel solution does add a layer of security to protect our customers.  Just like banks which require you to provide answers to questions for added security, Parcom also requires such a system.   If you at a brand new location (IP address) you will be asked the questions.    Initially, you set these questions up in advance of course.    Also, you may add known IPs you work from within cPanel by going to the Security Policy section. Click manage access IPs, and now those IPs will be trusted!

If for any reason you forget your security answers to the questions you created, this can be tough for us to reset if you contact us from an email address not associated with the account.  So if you require our assistance there is a nominal fee of $5 to reset all your information.   We will send all information to the current billing account e-mail on file.   If we find that the account e-mail on file has changed recently that can stop the process as that can be an indication of fraud or the account was stolen.   We're not new to securing customer accounts, so please be aware that we are protecting you and your accounts if we determine a potential fraud request is occurring.

So #1, don't forget your security answers to the security questions on any of our systems!   If you do, we're sorry but we will challenge your requests (as per policy) to make sure you are who you say you are and we'll do our best to reset things in a timely manner.
