Customers often try to ping or traceroute to their site to see if the site is active.
Please note! This may get your IP banned from the server for a short period of time if used too many times. The server sees these repeated queries as threats if done too many times. (number of times is proprietary information) The more you do this, the longer the block may be up until it becomes permanent.
If you find that you've made this error, contact us to have your IP removed from the banned list. This can take 1-2 business days.
