How do I register a domain?

All domain registration is handled through our new billing system and is fully automated.

When you reach the shopping cart - toggle the option to register a domain

It will then allow you the opportunity to enter the domain name you are trying to register or transfer TO Parcom.

Choose if you wish to have the option DNS management tool and then complete the remainder of the requested information and pay for your registration.

If you are registering a domain to point to a legacy account you can change the name servers to reflect the older assigned name servers you used in the past.   That does not change, only you have the control to do it at a lower price for domains here at Parcom... but if you require managed assistance there is a modest $5 fee to change it for you.   To do it for free, you just go to the Helm control panel at https://securehost.parcom.net and obtain the name servers assigned to the package you have for the domain or domain alias and update it on the new portal side at http://my.parcomweb.com

Note: Due to higher costs of domain registrations from our providers, we provided a control for customers to update their own WHOIS information and DNS control in exchange for us maintaining as low pricing as possible.   However, modest low editing fees will apply to those who prefer Parcom to make those changes to keep things fair for all customers.

As always, if you have any questions, please let our support team know so that they may assist you.
