Within cPanel go to the domains section and there you will find an icon called "Redirects" from this area you can do some pretty powerful redirects that would normally be managed via your htaccess file manually. Of course you can still do some manual additions to your htaccess file, but this interface can do some of the cool basics to get the job done. Advanced redirect users really like the convenience of this feature.
