Your primary administrative account also has an e-mail account associated with it by default.
When logging into cPanel, you are presented a webmail icon and you can actually login as your admin account to check email for it. It can sometimes contain your error messages too. Be sure to note that this is not where you would check email for other accounts you create.
If you are logged in as the administrator and you wish to log into another users email via cpanel you simply go to email accounts and select MORE then access webmail for the account you wish to access. Also, you may go direct to the mail server by using the format of: https://SERVERNAME:2096 (where server name is the name of the server assigned to you of course.)
