Mail delayed or slow

Although Parcom works very hard to keep e-mail flowing through as fast as possible, sometimes mail can slow down due to different issues.  Examples:

-- DDOS Attack (Distributed Denial of Service) which happens on the Internet and can slow things down for all customers.

-- Increased spam - Not all our customers subscribe to our spam deflector which helps speed e-mail systems for all, but because of that, if customers are receiving a higher than average amount of spam, delays can occur from minutes to hours.   We do our best to speed this up for our shared hosting clients, but mostly our first class clients are never affected by this problem.

-- Customer spamming - Even though this is against our policies, from time to time a client desperate for new customers is suckered into using spam as a means to get customers - this is not only illegal in many places, it is simply not allowed at Parcom.  We have measures to alert us of any Parcom client breaking this policy and we reserve the right to delete the offending email and ban the customer from further use of the mail system.

Mail is a shared solution at many hosting companies and everyone can help contribute to the speed of email by not enabling "catch all accounts" to making good decisions about giving out e-mail addresses to only trusted companies and individuals.    Spammers are usually the problem when it comes to slowing down everyone's mail - and the more people who use our anti-spam service, the better it is for the entire Parcom community.    Want to help?  Our service will help you and all you share hosting space with! http://www.parcomweb.com/services/spam-deflector/
