Parcom uses a highly customized installation of CentOS for all cloud based systems. Currently we standarized on version 5.6 for stability and reliability. Different versions are not available but future systems will always utilize the latest revision of the major release. As of any operating system, when major releases occur (by way of rolling out newer systems) customers may opt to move to newer cloud nodes in our network either on their own or by requesting special consultation services from Parcom.
