Moving from legacy hosting to cloud hosting

As one of our legacy hosting customers, you may be thinking about moving to the cloud and wondering how you get started...

1. Sign up for your new cloud based hosting plan here: http://www.parcomweb.com/services/cloud-hosting/ Just press the buy now button

2. Pick which city you want your site hosted in. The servers are all the same so no worries there!

3. Choose the duration of your hosting contract. The longer the contract, the lower the monthly price.

4. Add your domain name to the package you have picked

5. Pay for your hosting plan.

It's that simple to get started. Once you are started, you will receive information on logging in to CPANEL - your new hosting control panell You can set up FTP accounts and upload applications. There is a temporary URL that is available for you to view your files as you place them on the server.

When the site is all set (files uploaded etc) up and you have e-mail set up if you are using mail services - then you can change over your nameservers to the new ones that are used in the cloud. Feel free to contact us if you need help at this step!

IMPORTANT:  Be sure to cancel any anti-spam service immediately.   Especially if you plan to have our anti-spam solution on the new services.  You do not want to confuse the systems as to where to deliver mail!   Having two locations is risky! Especially when corresponding with anyone that just so happened to be on your old server... a Friend or business contact.   It's rare, but best to be safe.

The final step is to cancel the old legacy plan. If there are any credits that are due back to you - we will take care of it.

We hope you find these new plans exciting. We're proud to bring something new to our loyal customers and are here to help you out along the way.
