Is the Parcom cloud secure?

With recent news about cloud concerns (many valid) we do know the concept of cloud computing can be a very confusing thing to understand.   We wish to just keep it simple!   Think of Parcom as having a "Secure Matrix" of servers.  A bank of servers in every location if you will.   The idea of the cloud is a big one.  It has many facets, many other types of technologies too.   Some completely different from what we do yet it is under the category of cloud computing.   In fact, you are using cloud computing in many everyday activities!   You just may not know it yet!

Parcom is unique in its cloud service offering in that we built it around security first.    Security is what Parcom is known for.  And that in itself is broad too.  So a break down is in order:

  • Parcom gives you piece of mind in that we protect your web site from large scale attacks.   Our dynamic firewall technology is built into our network watching for threats 7x24!
  • Your web site is backed up automatically in our cloud file systems.   Easily accessible to you too.
  • Parcom systems are protected by many servers.   One system is backed by many in other words.  A cluster of systems if you will.  So hardware issues are reduced giving you great stability and reliability.
  • With the Parcom cloud, you have serious speed because you are no longer tied to one server, your site is now being represented by many.
  • Parcom is still a web site hosting provider.   We provide a solid place to host your web site on what we consider 6th generation technology.  Far beyond current hosting provider's typical 3rd or 4th generation grids or virtual technology.

We are honest in that nothing is perfect, but we strive for it constantly.  We built a technology that we wanted to use ourselves.  And we do.  This article is on one of our flagship systems in our Dallas location.   Fast, reliable, secure.  That's Parcom!
